   • If RIMS is deployed across many different client-owned servers, it becomes impossible to maintain a uniform security baseline and response time, which ultimately increases risk for both parties.

To address this, RIMS has been designed with multiple layers of protection:

4. Two-Layer Access Security & MAC-Based Control
   • User authentication is enforced through strong credentials and role-based permissions.
   • System access will be routed through a dedicated domain hosted on our secure servers, with Client having sole access to its own environment and remaining the absolute owner of all data. Access can be further restricted to specific machines/locations using MAC ID–based control, ensuring that only authorized devices within Client’s network can connect, even though the application is hosted at our data center.
5. Logical Data Segregation
   • Each Client’s data is logically isolated within its own dedicated domain on our servers, ensuring that Client’s information remains completely segregated and inaccessible to any other party.
6. Encrypted Communication & Controlled Connectivity
   • All communication between your outlets and our servers can be routed through secure channels (e.g., VPN or IP whitelisting), minimizing exposure over the open internet.
7. Ownership & Governance

Client will remain the sole owner of its data. We can formalize this through a Data Privacy & Confidentiality Agreement, clearly defining how data is stored, accessed, backed up and, if required, handed over in case of service termination.
